Lauren Mota

Veterinary Assistant

Pets: Cats: Lilo & Stitch | Dog: Atlas

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Lauren was drawn to veterinary medicine because of her lifelong love for animals and her desire to make a meaningful difference in their lives. She finds fulfillment in caring for pets during times of need while helping owners feel supported and informed.

Lauren has a special interest in client education and preventative care. She enjoys helping pet owners understand the importance of regular wellness exams, vaccinations, proper nutrition, dental care, and parasite prevention. She believes that proactive care is one of the best ways to help pets live longer, healthier, and happier lives, and she enjoys being part of a team that makes that possible.

Before joining the veterinary field, Lauren completed a year of veterinary technician studies at Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and volunteered with the Humane Society in Lincoln. These experiences helped strengthen her knowledge of animal care and confirmed her passion for veterinary medicine.

At home, Lauren shares her life with Atlas, a Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull mix, along with two domestic shorthair cats, Lilo and Stitch. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, creating succulent gardens, and taking walks with Atlas. A fun fact about Lauren is that she is a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and loves cheering on her favorite team whenever she can.
